Sree Ram, who is also a trainer in Krav Maga, passed away after falling from the staircase of an under construction buliding.
In a shocking freak accident, Sree Ram, a popular Krav Maga trainer and an actor passed away on Saturday after falling from the first floor of his house in Chennai’s Besant Nagar. Apparently, the 60-year-old actor tried to climb up the staircase of an under construction building and fell down while doing so. When his family found him lying unconscious in a pool of blood, they called for ambulance service. However, he was reportedly declared dead by the para medics in the ambulance.
Media reports suggest that the actor was practicing the self defense Krav Maga when the accident happened. It should be noted that Sree Ram introduced the art of Krav Maga to the Tamil Nadu Police and he has even trained them. He has also trained some Kollywood celebrities in the self defense martial art. His body has been sent to the government Royapettah hospital for postmortem.
It was reported earlier that he was roped in to play a key role in the upcoming movie of Thala Ajith titled Valimai. However, there is no official update on it. Sree Ram shot to his fame after featuring in the popular Tamil anthology, Sillu Karupatti bankrolled by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment. He shared the screen space with Leela Samson in the film and it was directed by Halitha Shameem. The passing away of Sree Ram is indeed a huge loss to the Kollywood industry.
