‘We never stopped fighting’: Colin Fassnidge speaks about his infamous feud with My Kitchen Rules co-star Manu Feildel on I’m a Celebrity
Colin Fassnidge has spilled the beans on his former feud with Manu Feildel during their days as co-hosts on Channel Seven’s My Kitchen Rules.
The Irish chef, 47, infamously butted heads with the French bon vivant, 46, for years before they joined forces on the popular cooking show.
In scenes set to air on Wednesday’s episode of I’m a Celebrity, Colin admitted their rivalry escalated because he ‘used to fight everybody in the old days’ while trying to make a name for himself in the culinary industry.

Speaking to fellow camper Grant Denyer, Colin said: ‘Obviously I made my name, but I forgot to stop fighting. We just never stopped fighting.’
The pair’s feud infamously flared when Colin mocked Manu’s appearance on Dancing with the Stars in 2011, and came to a head when he joined the cast of MKR in 2015.
And as soon as Colin arrived on set, Manu was quick to mark his territory.
Colin claimed Manu’s first words to him were: ‘Well, buddy, welcome to my home. If there’s anything you need, I’ll tell you how to do it.’

During his feud with Manu, Colin also had beef with former I’m a Celebrity champion Miguel Maestre, but it garnered less media attention.
As time went on, Colin decided to apologise to both chefs and the trio are now pals.
‘I just went into [Manu’s] dressing room and said, “Mate, I apologise for whatever,”‘ he said.

‘He was like, “That’s it, buried it.” Same with Miguel.’
Colin added: ‘Now all the wives hang out, the kids hang out… we’re like, “Why did we waste so long getting to know each other?”‘
I’m a Celebrity continues Wednesday on Channel 10 at 7.30pm
