Genshin Impact keeps getter better three months post release, and this is thanks to continuous updates such as 1.2 which has just given us the Ganyu banner. In addition, version 1.2 has also given us the Lost Riches event where you can get a Mini Seelie pet. Here you’ll discover how to get a Mini Seelie pet in Genshin Impact, and you’ll find out the differences between the three that are available.
While update 1.2 was a premature Christmas gift which blessed us with the arrival of Albedo and Ganyu, miHoYo’s roadmap for 2020 implies that update 1.3 will arrive sometime in February. Not much is officially known about the upcoming update, but leaks suggest that the banners will be Xiao and Hu Tao.
Xiao and Hu Tao would be exciting additions in the future if true, but – before update 1.3 comes about – below you’ll discover how to get a Mini Seelie pet in Genshin Impact, and you’ll also find out the differences.
How to get Mini Seelie pet in Genshin Impact during Lost Riches
You can get a Mini Seelie pet in Genshin Impact during the Lost Riches event which lasts until 04:00 server time in your region on January 18th (event items remain in store until January 22nd).
In order to get a Mini Seelie pet in Genshin Impact during the Lost Riches event, you will first need to find Ulman at the Stone Gate.
You need to talk to this NPC so you can be gifted with a Treasure Book and Gadget.
This Treasure Gadget is a Treasure-Seeking Seelie, and it and the book will both guide you to areas of the game’s landscape to find Iron Coins.
Ulman will mark out two new Treasure areas in the book each day, for a total of 14 treasure areas. Once you venture to these areas, you will want to summon the Treasure-seeking Gadget so it can help you find Iron Coins by shining more intensely the closer you get to a buried patch.
A Mini Seelie pet costs 280 Iron Coins, and miHoYo’s website says that the three gadgets can only be exchanged for after completing all of the treasure areas.
Not only that, but you can only get one gadget during the event.
What is the difference between the Mini Seelie pets in Genshin Impact?
The only difference between the Mini Seelie pets in Genshin Impact appears to be colour.
There are differences in description for each Mini Seelie pet in Genshin Impact, but the major distinction appears to be the colours which are as follows:
- Dayflower – Sea Blue
- Rose – Powder Pink
- Curcuma – Gold
Aside from Curcuma which has a description which says that its colour represents good fortune, the only difference between the Gadgets appears to be colour as they each will follow the player around the world.
