Hafthor Bjornsson fought to a draw on his boxing debut, going three rounds with professional fighter Steven Ward in Dubai.
The three-round exhibition bout between Bjornsson and Ward actually took place on Friday, but was only aired this evening.
And Bjornsson’s first foray into boxing ended in a draw as he went the distance with the 13-1 boxer.
Check out the highlights below.
Speaking after the contest, the Belfast fighter said: “What a night. The exhibition is over, and big Thor hits like a horse.
“But it was great. I hope everyone tunes in tomorrow to watch it. It was quite exciting.
“It was a great set-up, and it was class having a crowd finally back watching boxing.
“Hope everyone tunes in tomorrow to watch, and sees me getting dropped…”
Bjornsson is set to fight fellow strongman Hall in September in a bout billed as the ‘heaviest fight of all time’.
“I’m training for this fight like I trained to be the strongest man in the world,” said Hall.
“No stone unturned and anyone in my way is getting milled down.
“With the experience MTK Global brings to the table, this event will be even better than it was going to be.
“As for the fight itself, I have zero doubt in my mind that cry baby Thor is getting folded in half and sent packing back to Iceland.”
