After giving audiences a successful film like Article 15, Ayushmann Khurrana and director Anubhav Sinha have joined hands for another project titled ‘Anek.’ The first look has been shared today by the actor on social media.
Actor Ayushmann Khurrana has kicked off his February by kicking off the shoot of his next with director Anubhav Sinha. The actor was in the North-East in the past week and today, he announced his film titled “Anek’ with Anubhav. The actor has collaborated with the filmmaker previously in Article 15 that managed to impress audiences. Now, the actor-director duo are once again joining hands for another riveting story that is titled ‘Anek.’ Ayushmann shared the first look today as the film’s shoot began.
Taking to his Instagram account, Ayushmann shared two photos from the forest in the North-East part of India. He is seen posing with the clapper board in his hand. Beside him, we can see director Anubhav Sinha striking a pose. In another photo, the actor shared his first look from the film. In the look, we can see Ayushmann sitting in an open jeep. The actor is playing the role of Joshua in the film. He is seen in an intense look for the spy thriller.
Sharing the photo, Ayushmann wrote, “Excited to be collaborating with Anubhav Sinha sir. Again. #ANEK. Here’s presenting my look as Joshua produced by @anubhavsinhaa and #BhushanKumar.”

Pinkvilla had reported earlier that the film’s shoot has commenced in Guwhati and the director intends to capture North-East like never before. A source had told Pinkvilla, “It’s going to be a long and intense schedule for the actor and it’s one of his biggest films till date in terms of scale and budget. He plays a spy in it. After Article 15, the director-actor duo was on the lookout for something bigger and better, and that’s what led them to collaborate on this edge of the seat spy thriller.” Well, now that the first look is out, fans surely can get excited about seeing the actor-director duo collaborating again.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann also has been sharing photos and videos from the shoot location over the past week. He even visited the Kaziranga National Park and shared glimpses from the trip on social media.
